The I-5 Rollergirls is a junior flat track Roller Derby league and non-profit organization, we provide roller derby training to young women in King coounty, Snohomish county and the greater Seattle area. We are dedicated to providing the best coaching, safety, playing facilities, and competition for all who participate in this league.
Our team of qualified flat track roller derby veteran skaters are commited to teaching full contact, fundamental roller derby. The I5RG program is designed to develop character, confidence, and leadership skills in both skilled athletes and those who are looking to try a new cutting edge sport.
Skaters must be 9-18 years old to tryout for our league. I5RG maintains an A and B team that compete regionally and nationally. We will have open tryouts throughout the 2013 season.
All skaters must have proof of primary health insurance and wear protective gear. Practices are every Friday 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate and Saturdays 10am to 12noon at the Everett Skate Deck.
The I-5 Rollergirls were founded in 2010 and are heading into our fourth season. We focus on the technical and tactical development of each individual player within a team setting. It is our goal to share the love of roller derby and instill it in the next generation. The staff, coaches, and volunteers of I5RG are committed to giving every player the best Derby experience in Washington State!
